Gabriel Ducolombier is a French industrial and mechanical engineer with extensive experience in managing complex technical projects, particularly at the intersection of engineering and contemporary art.
His professional background combines formal engineering education from École Nationale Supérieure D’Arts et Métiers with hands-on experience in metal structures and heat exchanger design and manufacturing at companies like Entreprise Ferrari, SECAN, Air Liquide, and Morgana SAS. His work at Enzyme Design from 2018 to 2020 also helped him develop experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, and project management for art, architecture, and design projects, with contributions to installations such as Elias Crespin’s "Onde du Midi" at the Louvre in Paris and Xavier Veilhan’s "Crocodile" in Lausanne.
Through his current work at Quadratik E&C, he has contributed to several high-profile art installations across Europe, including Kohei Nawa’s "Ether" in Sevres, Urs Fisher’s "The Wave" in Paris, and Karolina Halatek’s "Relic" in Metz. He holds the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
